History
Trimble Genetics was established in 2001 by President and Founder Michael W. Trimble, Ph.D.
Trimble Genetics is an independent maize genetics and technology company that is based in the USA but works primarily in tropical and subtropical markets in Mexico, Central America, South America, Africa and Asia.
In recent years, we have leveraged our global database and genetics resources to enable us to steadily expand geographically. We manage our own nursery and seed conditioning operations enabling us to better manage seed quality and global logistics issues. Today we enable and execute research, parent seed and commercial hybrid production for clients in more than 20 countries.
The Future
We are still just beginning to unlock the potential of the entire maize genome.
Our vision is to extract specific genomic value from our proprietary genetics and technology for our partners to deliver, today and to future generations.
